Welcome to the Distance Calculator function of the Worlds Airports stack by White Knight Software. Use this stack to find the distance between any two commercial airports in the world. This is a very simple stack to use, put the latitude and longitude of the first location into the boxes on the left side of the stack and the destination into the right. The top boxs are for the degrees the middle boxes for the minutes and the bottom boxes for the direction, then click on the 'CALCULATE' button to show the distance in statute miles, nautical miles and kilometers.
You can also use the "Find" button to locate an origin or destination point, click on the "Select" button and the coordinates are automatically placed in the "Distance Calculator". Or just put the three letter city or airport code for any airport in the world into the two fields and click on the "Cities" button, the program will locate the latitude and longitude and put them on this card.
The "Clear" button simply clears all the fields values on this card.
If you like this stack please click on the White Knight Software button in the lower left hand corner of the stack to find out who we are and how you can show us how much you like it.
Thanks to Dennis C. DeMars for the XCMD's and XFCN's that make this stack talk. See HyperMacintalk V1.0 for more details..... And to Apple for the map background.
P.S.
Clicking on the World Icon in the upper left cornor of this card will add it to your home card.
